I don't wear cologne on a daily basis...rarely really, but I used to wear acqua di gio but i changed it up a few months ago. Terre D'Hermes
I haven't wore cologne since English Leather, but do enjoy the hint of a perfume on a woman. I guess you can call me MUSK man!
On an everyday basis--usually Lacoste. On rarer occasions, Penhaligon's Douro and Blenheim Bouquet, both purchased last December in London.
Since it came out on the market, I believe: Curve. (the classic stuff, not the sporty or "night" stuff) Before that, it was ARAMIS or Eternity. LOL! You even included the inverted question marks, Mr. moestavern19. Well done, sir. Rep+ Please shoot me a personal email through the board, sir.
On the very rare time I use it, it is Tommy or the generic version of Tommy. Both were gifts, and I only wear it on special nights because my wife likes it.
Realities for men, get lots of compliments. It is a kind of citrus scent. Also, mild, not over powering. (Liz Claiborne). Check the net for excellent values.
Colognes are about the biggest continual extravagance I have. I haven't been able to find any newer colognes that smelled that great, so I was hoping you guys would post something new. The ones I have in my warchest at the moment : Polo Blue : ancient bottle with hardly anything left. I used to like it, but have grown too used to it. Vetiver by Guerlain : (an old 60's cologne that was brought out again a few years ago. I tried it because of the good reviews the 60's version got. Eh. It's strong as hell and smells ok, I guess) Terre d'Hermes : Pretty popular cologne. I like it, but don't love it. V by Valentino : I like using this for every day wear although it may be a bit too strong for it. It's one of my "regulars". Very Valentino : Another Valentino cologne I love. This is one of my favorite colognes of all time along with the 80's legend, Drakkar Noir. It's kind of strong and I usually get compliments on it. Egoiste : made by Chanel. I got this based upon reviews online. I regret it. lol. Man, this stuff smells like sweet buffalo piss and strong as hell. I haven't been this disappointed in reviews since Acqua Di Gio. This was a waste of money. Angel Men : made by Thierry Mugler. If you like "sweeter" colognes like stuff by Calvin Klein, you may like this. I like it. The one I want to get, but can't pull myself to buy any because it's too damn pricey for toilet water is Bois du Portugal. Creed makes pricey colognes, but many get good reviews. I don't know if that's because people are scared to admit they spent $200+ on cologne or if they're really that good. lol. I'd buy some, but I have to smell it first.
