I was B.B. Hankins single adult pastor for 3 yrs. and then the assistant pastor for 4 years. I knew B.B. very well. We spent plenty of time together since I was on his ministry staff. I was very close to him.

At least my dad does... and I'm sure I've met you before at some point.

It's independent, but it's really similar to A/G.

Hey, that's pretty cool. I go to that mass every once in a while. I'm sure I have seen you.

I also go to Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral downtown.

I like to go to the Sacred Heart spaghetti lunch on Thursdays at I45 & Crosstimbers. Every time I go, I seem to run into fathers of guys I grew up with.

    Whoa...

My dad goes there almost weekly. He takes a buddy of his (or did when the buddy's health was better, not sure if he's still living). His buddy once worked at a guitar center.

Combine the guitar, the spaghetti lunch.. and there's about three or four degrees of separation between us!

    hmmm.

I'd love to meet your Dad.

And, at the frustration point I'm at right now, I'd love to work at Guitar Center. I'd probably have to sell my house and car because of the enormous pay cut I'd take, but the environment at my current work location is driving me nuts.

I tried to call in sick today, but wasn't allowed to, due to tasks I had to take care of today. So I sat at my desk, feeling like crap, until I could do the work at 1:30 PM. The noise around my cubicle made it impossible to even speak to the person sitting next to me who was assisting me.

My day job has always been a means to an end....to enable me to do what I love at night.

    I need a new day job....badly. :(
