Every manufacturer has lemons in their fleet. I don't know why. For example, my Audi A4 was constantly giving me very expensive engine trouble. Others I've spoken to talk about the near-invincibility of the 1.8T engine (which is offered on a variety of Audi and Volkswagen models). There were a few others I found who had similar problems, so it wasn't just me. But we were a small percentage of the total users of that engine. I had trouble with some of the dealerships. Others have praised those very dealerships. For what it's worth, my family has had roughly 18 years of trouble-free Mercedes driving experience over about 10 different Mercedes vehicles. I can't recall any of them needing anything more than regular service (though my family stopped buying Mercedes because the dealership in Amarillo shut down, so it would've become a massive pain to send the cars to Oklahoma City for dealer-provided service when necessary and made it much harder to get parts if needed.)
Dreamshake, you seem to think having a mullet would be a bad thing. I disagree. If you grow a mullet and let it flow in the T-top breeze, you will pull many women irresistably to the passenger seat, and from there, to the back seat. You see, I am jealous. I am driving a Toyota Corolla, 1998, with a dashboard that now has a ridiculous corral of plastic animals. No mullet will help that.
supposed to be getting a Chevrolet Camaro for the road trip portion of the World Tour is this any good?
I guess you could always just try and mask yourself as a girl Girly hair do Girly car Must be a girl.
Just wanted to agree that the new G35 coupe in amazing. I finally saw one in person and think that its one of the best looking new sports cars to come out in the last few years. It priced really well too considering that most nice passanger cars are around 25k.
The 2003 CLK Mercedes is nice from the front, but the back makes it look small, like a little hatchback. I really prefer the G35 from the outside, but the damn inside doesn't compare at all to the Mercedes/BMW interiors!
92 Honda Accord. EX mind you. Its real sweet, especially with the two baby seats in the back. A babe magnent
I did prefer the previous generation CLK, but for the rest of the model line, the current Mercedes models are all pretty sweet (I don't particularly like the little hatchback C class). The new E-class is quite attractive, and the SL class is among the most attactive non-Porsche cars I've ever seen.
I totally agree with you MRPAIGE. Also i'm weary of getting a 5-serier BMW because the 2004 models are changing dramatically. The SL 500 is a machine though. A friend of mine got one and we have gone out in it and it is a GIRL Magnet!! For some reason women don't find Porsche's to be that sexy. The SL 500 rides a bit sluggish though. It doesn't have the kick that one would want with its sporty looks because its so damn heavy. Of course you could spend 50K more and get an SL 55 AMG like Mobley in Cribs!
A very dirty black Toyota T-100 with the extended cab. It's great for moving big-ass guitar speakers but not so great for commuting (oh how Ralph Nader would hate me).
In 1886, Carl Benz built a motorized tricycle. His first four-wheeler, the Victoria, was built in 1893. The first production car was the 1894 Benz Velo which participated in the first recorded car race, the Paris-Rouen race. In 1895, Benz built his first truck. http://www.cyberparent.com/wheels/mercedes.htm
Well Infiniti is owned by Nissan and I had a 300ZX in high school and never had any problems with it at all. I drive a Lexus SC400 with over 100K miles and have never had any problems whatsoever besides an air pump and cheap radiator problem. Of course my family has always driven Mercedes and never had major problems there either. I have to say though in my one experience with a Lexus, it was better than all of the Mercedes Experiences service and technical problems wise. They still give me loaner cars and wash my car when I get my oil changed and give me free oil changes once in a while.
