What the Hell?????????? ------------------ President of the Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford,Larry Hughes, and Charles Woodson fan club.
My opinions of Webber fluctuate more than a Moochi Norris afro. He says he may go here, there, are all the way to pasadena. But, quite frankly, I think he is a liar. You can be assured, most definitely, he knows where he wants to go. Now, personally I don't think Webber is all that high on Houston anymore than Jason Williams is getting high on his couch. ------------------
Orlando won't trade Grant Hill. And would Webber want to play there if the team was decimated? I don't know if J-Will has to be attached to Webber in a trade. I admire friendship and loyalty, but Franchise is twice the PG of J-Will (at least); J-Will always had his butt on the bench and head in a towel when the game was on the line. Webber said he wants to win. ANd that it would be important for him to play with a solid point guard (when ruminating about the Rockets). Anyway, J-Will might fetch the Kings a decent power forward (Fizer? Brand?); Turkoglu and, er, Bobby Jackson already make good point guards (better than over-hyped J-Will). ------------------
Why does everyone think that Grant Hill would be traded. I know it's been rumored plenty of times but there is no contending team that would trade for Grant Hill after the type of surgery and contract he has. No one (including Grant) knows if he can still play an entire season or if he would be 80% of what he used to be. I know if i were the kings, I wouldn't take a chance on him, besides, the king already have a pretty nice small forward in Peja. So, i think this Orlando rumor is just that, a rumor and the only two teams that C-Webb will consider playing for next year is Suckramento or H-Town. New York doesn't have a shot if you just really sit back and analyze what they will have to give up and what they will have left if they give it up. They would only have Webber, Sprewell, and a bunch of over-peaked average players in Mark Jackson, Luc Longley, Glenn Rice, Charle Ward, Larry Johnson, and Jeff Van Gundy, oops, did I say Van Gundy? Well he runs out on the floor so much that I thought he was actually a player/coach. So if he does pick New York they won't get out of the second round of the Eastern Conference. So personally I think we have a 50/50 chance at getting him but I would prefer Garnett or Wallace. ------------------ [This message has been edited by j-bone (edited May 30, 2001).]
I think there's going to be a trade between Orlando and Sacramento. Orlando Trades: Bo Outlaw Darrel Armstrong Grant Hill Sacramento Trades: Chris Webber Jason Williams
He's telling his friend what the friend wants to hear, and needs to know. As Bono sang in "The Fly" (Achtung Baby): "A secret is something/you tell another person..." ------------------
