Sounds interesting...Oh yeah, I make a mean queso, a great ham (great with Honey baked Ham diced up) and cheese omelet and badazz sausage and egg breakfast tacos...
You really need a smoker, and you can get a cheapie at Walmart for 30 bucks. And you'll do this recipe more than once. Trust me. I've never made this without making a brisket, so I don't know how good it would be without the brisket drippings falling on the chicken. I just fry chicken invegetable ov med. high heat in a skillet with flour, salt and pepper. And I got the recipe from Smoke & Spice. A really good cookbook if you want to learn how to smoke food. http://www.amazon.com/Smoke-Spice-Barbecue-Charcoal-Wood-Burning/dp/155832061X
Next time you make queso, try this. Take a stick of velveeta, a can of Rotel, and a link of chorizo sausage, mix them all together and shove in the microwave. Just about everyone loves it when I do that.
I've been meaning to try that recipe for the Chuy's ranch dip that Fatty posted from way back when, still haven't gotten around to it.
I can do... Spaghetti and Spicy meatballs East meets West Omelet Thai Green Curry Calamari in Jasmine Rice Nasi lemak (coconut Rice) Mac and Cheese Spice Cajun Chicken Wings Rendang Dopiaza Chicken Curry and hmm couple other experimental stuff...
