What can we learn from the 2024 Rockets Synergy numbers?

Very appreciative of OP's effort. I like this kind of stuff. It's of course not the whole picture but enough to be food for thoughts.

Amen is our best defensive player. He needs to be on the floor more.

One thing the offensive chart doesn't show is playmaking since the numbers are about shots, not how they were set up. It would be interesting to see the impact of passing by guys like Fred, Alpi, Jalen, and Amen.

 

Not sure if Amen or Tari is the best defender of the 2. They are different. Amen is better poa. Tari is better at just being disruptive.

 

I've heard it said he's our franchise player.

 

Like I’ve always said…. Tate is our best player

Am I reading this graphic wrong because to me it looks like it's saying Jalen, Fred and Amen had 0 transition plays and that can't be true.

And what do those numbers at the bottom for the league leaders represent? Is that the percentage of total plays they were involved in that play type?
