Adrian Griffin, Eggie, and Moochie for Toni Kukoc Milw is rebuilding and would love to unload that large contract for some young talent. Maybe playing with his cousin (Tim Thomas) would be a positive influence allowing him to rededicate and enjoy basketball again. houston gets a playoff savy 5-tool player in the last year of his deal ,who happens to be our other first found pick from last years' favorite player, to provide scoring and leadership off the bench. Yao, Cato MoT, Kukoc JJ, Boki Cat, Pike Wink, Robert Pack Milw: TJ, Moochie Redd, Damon Jones Desmond Mason TThomas, Griffin Gadzuric, Joe Smith
Remember Jason Kidd - he hit his wife and he is still a "league superstar." I can even imagine why we would contemplate trading him now, or even before this latest incident. His value is at an all time low, and we are basically going to give him away. Its like selling stocks at the three year low.
Nothing much. Not just because of his personal problems but he also hasnt showed enough on the court for teams to look past his personal problems.
JR Rider, Dennis Rodman, etc. tried to continue playing in the NBA but teams weren't willing to take the risk. I don't remember those guys ever being accused of shooting anyone. We definitely can't trade EG now. Hopefully, he didn't shoot at the woman and at this point he's innocent.
Actually, they'd want to keep Kukoc, if only because he's the only vet player they have left. Moreover, it expires after this year, which will give Mil a lot of space under the cap.
Too bad Kidd was the best PG in the NBA at the time. If EG were the best power forward in the NBA, then maybe he'd be a star. I do agree that we should just hold onto him at this point. I don't think we'd get anything more tahn scrubs with long-term contracts. We should have traded him for Rashard Lewis, last summer.
Actually Tim Thomas, Desond Mason, Joe Smith and to a lesser degree Michael Redd are all veterans with playoff experience. Also, I understand his contract comes off the books but it is a calculated risk taking a young talent while his value is low. The deal would work if they think Eggie can play to 1/3 the potential he was predicted to achieve which was pretty high.
Keep him- we can get nothing for him now. I like that Eddie can block shots- he will be worth keeping if he does not cause distractions.
