Another interview with James White where he talks about going into the dunk context with 7 variations of his free throw line dunk some of which has never been witnessed.

James White brings heroic dunking skills -- everything else is gravy.

You may be right. But, I don't believe you - or any of us - have seen him on the practice floor with the team. Who dreamed the VW would play like a Mercedes?

It would be wonderful if this coaching regime's ability to develop players will extend to make James white-hot.

I am most thrilled about the development process in the Adelman era. Thrilled, thrilled - thrilled, I say.

    i agree

you're right, i havent but i seen what JW can do but i have seen what von can do and i would just rather take my chances with a 23 y/o von than a 27 y/o JW :)

von has raw athleticism but he needs hone it to become an effective shooting guard but it is up to him to make that change. look at jr smith, he was very raw as an athlete too but he is pasing better, becoming a real playmaker, and taking better hots with better looks a opposed to how he was back then.

something about james i like tho, i would like to see what more he has to offer

Maybe J-Dub has nothing to offer a team. Maybe his development will make him a bona fide rotation guy. Summer leagus tell us little IMHO, but October camp may be enlightening.

Clearly I hope the man makes it. Big. As a Rocket. J-Dub and the V-Dub can make W's rain as Rox reign. :)

After getting a contract, I'd say he can bring some pretty nice things to the table--some fillet mignon, sushi, really whatever you want.

It would be nice to have our very own highlight reel for a change.

Maybe Adelman will find a way to make him work in the plug-n-play offense.

James White brings the Rockets a serious shot at the dunk championship -- quit trying to bring other irrelevant topics into this thread (scoring/def./ team chemistry/ etc.)

Don't know about that but they like that he is very athletic and want to build on that along with Wafer.

Can he still fly at 27?

I love the guy though, I wish he make the team. He's got a smooth jumpshot from garbage time. He also looks like a pretty good defender to me.

Anyone got his highlight as a Rockets? Do post please.

U never know. Moon is a pretty good player off the bench, raja bell was a late producing guy and anthony parker after being a first round bust, came back as a good player. Adelman does a great job of developing talent. I mean that old portland team had guys like kersey and cliff robinson who were raw athletes and turned out to be good players. Wafer came a long ways from the start and seem to be on the upward tick.
