    Geez, what's Volume 2?

"In the excting prequel of a prequel, Trog Waterhouse and Umah Shaftoe hobnob with sabertooth tigers and woolly mammoths in the Bronze Age! While the brilliant Waterhouse comes up with a devious scheme to invent fire, Shaftoe goes out in search of a woman to club over the head and drag back to their cave."

    Volume 3:

"In the riveting prequel of a prequel of a prequel, Waterhouse and Shaftoe, both primordial ooze, float around the oceans and do nothing of consequence."

    The Neverending Story.

I just found it in an old box I had packed away so I started scanning through it and I got hooked again.
