Jason Mraz - Waiting for My Rocket to Come Foo Fighters - One by One Wayne Shorter - Alegria - actually, I just heard the whole thing today on KTSU and it WILL be in my CD player later today or tomorrow. Man, one of the best jazz records I've ever heard. Toad the Wet Sprocket - Coil The Modern Jazz Quartet Plays Bach
Nappy Roots - Watermelon, Chicken and Gritz Martina McBride - Greatest Hits Mark Wills - Greatest Hits Aerosmith - Big Ones 2PAC - Better Dayz
you have excellent taste in music. i listen to 5 of those artists quite regularly. and about Live@RR - Satellite, Two Step-->BOWA, Recently--> LIOG, Dancing Nancies, Warehouse.... that's all awesome.
Which 5? Yeah, outside of "Proudest Monkey", that's an amazing disc one. I got to see Dave and Tim this weekend, badass!
Velvet Undergroud - self-titled 3rd album Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain Radiohead - The Bends My Bloody Valentine - Loveless John Coltrane - Ascension Jimi Hendrix Experience - Axis: Bold as Love Original Soundtrack to Twin Peaks
i just got into Mraz, but i've been listening to J5, the Roots, Dave, and Ben for quite some time now. i would love to see Dave & Tim, but that's unrealistic - but i heard they're making a DVD/CD from one of the venues, so i'll probably pick that up. i do plan on attending my first DMB concert this summer, however

Good to see someone digging the coral. Damn these dudes are pretty young and their album is just vintage. The Libertines Album is worth every dime. The new AFI seems to be great (produced by Butch Vig) and the new White Stripes starts getting "Record of the month" honours in a lot of magazines.
Hey is it really this good (the new Wayne Shorter)? I just have read an article about it and they are also freaking out about it. Have to get it too.
Pretty much been listening to nothing but Hellacopters in my truck for the last month. Turbonegro kicks ass too. Waiting patiently for new Turbo album
Devil's Workshop - Frank Black and the Catholics Black Letter Days - Frank Black and the Catholics One by One - Foo Fighters Mary Star of the Sea - Zwan Songs for the Deaf - Queens of the Stone Age Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots - Flaming Lips
I've been listening to jazz (and playing it) for a long time and this is one of the best records I've heard in many years. It really blew me away. The comparisions I've read to Sketches of Spain are not at all out of line. It really is that good. Plus, with Brad Meldhau, John Pattitucci, Alex Acuna, Terri Lynn Carrington, et al backing him up, it couldn't have been bad in the first place. But, it really is impressive.
