I can't picture any other organization where this can happen. It's pretty cool...a little weird, but pretty damn cool. It's the weirdo hippie head coach who's bangin the owner's daughter and they make home videos talking bball and release them on Youtube, and she twitters. Extra short shorts, Von Hawks and Red Blazers with oversize bowties.. I love these Rockets but they have some disturbing fashion sense.

 

I was just thinking about the uniforms the guys have worn past years.
Saw the clips of games 20 years ago when the shorts were short. Yuck.
Perhaps that is why I did not like basketball back then. The longer shorts look so good. And gotta admit - some nice bods on the boys in the NBA.
I also like the short or shaved hair/head.
I also have often wondered about the fabric of the uniforms.
Those boys work up a sweat - I am thinking the uniforms not 100 pct cotton.
Anyone know?

I'm pretty sure those uniforms are not 100% cotton and probably don't have cotton in them. Without getting hold of them I guess they are a synthetic like what Under Armor running shirts are made out of that doesn't chafe and wicks moisture away from the body.

Artest probably has his shorts custom cut.

Good guess. Nike used to make the NBA jerseys and they used the Nike Dri-Fit technology. Basically microfibers "Dri-FIT technology moves moisture away from the skin to the outside"

I think Adidas makes the NBA jerseys for the last 2 years, not sure what they use.
