I hate to say it, but after only 2 games, Ron is already the heart of this team. It ain't Yao. It ain't Tracy. When the Rockets get droopy, Ron is the one who lifts them up. Watching Tracy and Yao respond to Ron (and not the other way around) is amazing to me.

I just hope he keeps himself under control for the entire season and playoffs.

Did anyone see him huddle the team under the goal talking defense?

I don't usually chime in on knee jerk reaction threads.

This is different. Even Barry has "it". I am all aboard.

    I love it.

    Battier-Artest-Hayes : The Suffocation Rotation.

Yao did a great job also defending the interior.

    So true its ridiculous.

When battier and artest switch on and off on kobe, I predict he will score 10 points on 5 of 27 shot attempts

This team will be very scary once the whole team is healthy. Can't wait to see SF3 and Battier back. T-Mac still needs some time to heal.

YES! I was just about to mention that, it was after no one picked up Terry when he was goin to the hole and then got fouled and he started pointing to where they were supposed to be. Also an earlier poster mentioned something about Chuck on Nowitzki and him being undersized, but Chuck shut him down the entire fourth quarter and forced him into really tough shots. Overall great win, no T Mac the entire 4th quarter was surprising but all that shows is the great depth we have.

You don't do what the Rockets did last year without some serious heart. Artest went to a team with heart and injected it with steroids that also makes your balls bigger. What's amazing about this team is even after 2 games, you are already seeing great chemistry. TEAM CHEMISTRY was the heart last year and it was this year. Even Barry coalescing with Brooks was great to see. Mutombo will help that as well.

I like the fact that he can set the example both vocally and by example. T-Mac and Yao only do it by example. Battier and Rafer, the vocal leaders, don't set an example(offensively) but were leaders on the defensive end.

Just saw that jump after the shot... and it was spitting image of Mad Max jumping after the shot... the shot.

    Shades of AWESOME.
