    NY Pick

Don't we get the choice of whether to swap 1st rounders with NYK?

Gasol and Kaman. But we should go all in for Howard :(

I also would rather crank out a major rebuild.

That said, Les wants to be competitive now.

So, I'm saying we make a move for Kaman and his big expiring contract. And I think there's a decent chance we we are able to pry away Eric Gordon too, but at least Caveman for 09 er expirings and a low pick ......It will be interesting to see if Hill is included in this deal if it goes down.

In a separate deal the Rockets move Martin and Scola for Gasol. It will probably cost more, but we'll see.

Watch Flynn..Hopefully he goes out in the Lakers deal, but if not look for the Knicks to be in the mix (despite JL's play of late)...Some interesting possibilities still reside there....

I DO NOT want to lose Dragic in any of these deals unless Deron Williams is coming to town.

I expect Morey to move all our expiring contracts.

If they can get Pau Gasol, I think they will. Maybe not the boldest of bold predictions but ehh...whatever. :p

    Potentially Dragic's

I have to echo Clutch's post about the mistake on the direction of the team. A non-lotto Knicks' pick and a first round playoff exit for Houston is a very real posibility. Likewise, a non-lotto Knicks' pick and the #14 pick for Houston is a real possiblity as well. Neither inspire anything but disappointment as far as I'm concerned. Clutch was right, we needed to either sink or swim and we decided to float. I can't remember ever being this disappointed with the direction of the team.

You think we can get Gasol AND Kaman? What do you think we'll be giving up?

Peke has been getting better and better over the season and I do not see the T-Wolves trading him at all. I would do Martin for Beasley, Darko and Utah pick. Don't even need the pick

Only an idiot GM would give us a first round pick for Flynn.

Unfortunately NY seem to have found something of a PG. Since the list of idiot GMs to trade with is now extinct, there is no chance of trading Flynn for a first rounder!

Flynn for a conditional 2nd? Perhaps.
Flynn as one expiring to bring back a longer contract? Yes.

I'd expect Morey to make some relatively big moves, I don't think K-Mart/Scola is hanging around any longer.

Just keep him and let him expire. Only trade him if you can manage a top 25 protected first or even a unconditional 2nd. If you can not get at least that then keep him

    Let's be fair Clutch!

We didn't "roll out" Martin/Scola by choice - our hand was forced on that front! The "choice" was to "roll out" a Gasol (Nene) team and contend. When that got shot down we were pretty stuck...

For me, making the playoffs this season would be a success PROVIDED we maintain the salary cap flexibility heading into this off-season.
If nothing major materializes, then I'd expect Morey to "flip" our current expirings into expirings for next season - probably picking up some 2nd round draft picks in the process.

Sadly, that's my prediction for the trade deadline! Other teams will freak out and go "all in" on Howard/ Williams/ Gasol, and we'll be left to churn the 10-15 roster spots into 2013 expirings.

Just sucks that the entire league knows how desparate the rockets are to make a trade, any trade. It's not a good sign.

Essentially, the rockets will give up too much unless DMorey pulls something out of his ass.

I think they're going to make future looking moves. 3-4 main rotation players will be traded.

What I'd like for them to do is take a chance on Bogut. Even if it means trading for a currently injured player.

Remember, what you think WILL happen. Please don't turn this into another Random Trade Thread. This thread is designed for someone to bump on March 15th and say "I told you so."

    Caveman + fillers = Thabeet + Hill+ TWill + 2nd round pick
    Gasol + Morris = Martin + Scola + Dragic

    Lowry/Flynn/Morris
    Lee/Budinger
    Morris/Parsons
    Gasol/Patterson
    Dalembert/Caveman

Something like that, considering the rumors.
