I actually only shot at 3 stores.

    1. Nike outlet (only for t-shirts and shoes)
    2. Express (for polos and dress shirts, only go on their july 4th sale with plenty of coupons in hand, i save hundreds)
    3. Macy's for jeans.

Well I usually just buy from the same retailers online. I know my shoe size, shirt size and pant size. Usually they all run the same size, because I'm buying from the same place. I find better deals and more selection online as well. If I don't like the particular product, I can just physically return it at their retail location at the mall. Sometimes going to the store or mall is walking through a jungle that is why I try to avoid it.

Overall, I think you can get the best deal for shoes online.

In my slightly cooler days was Foleys, Palais Royal "and up". Like oooh man no WAY I go into Montgomery Ward.

Nows its Target, Kmart, some place called 5 Shirts for $10. PERFECTLY fine with Ross and Marshalls. Used to shop at Mervyns (man, what happened to all the big retailers?)

Just apparel to get me through the day cuz I have to. I like the concept of the old general store where you went into town and got a sack of barley, some kerosene, and pants.

Gadzooks, Anchor Blue, Hot Topic if you're "eccentric"

Anchor Blue is a good intermediate store actually. Have some stuff from there thats lasted a good while.

If you can afford to shop at Hollister, you can afford to be a contributing member.

    Express
    Urban Outfitters
    Lucky (for jeans)

I buy all of my shoes either online at Zappos or at DSW. I used to go to Pac Sun quite a bit for t-shirts, but now that I'm 30 I feel like a creepy old bro when I walk in there and it's full of 14 year olds.

I have credit accounts at Macy's and Express and I enjoy a good Urban Outfitters shopping spree from time to time...

    This is hard...

    1) Urban outfitters - for my funky accessories and shirts
    2) JC Penny - for work clothes super cheap if you wait for sales
    3) Marshalls - for anything

Went to my first Zara the other day. Although they had a LOT of stuff I could never pull off the stuff I did like fit perfectly. How does one find out when that place has sales? Their website sucks. Do they even advertise? For all you guys that said you liked Express but have never been to Zara I suggest you check it out.

The only issue with purchasing shoes online is the size. One could be a size 10 and fit perfectly, while another style with the same size could be too large or small. What I tend to do is go to the store first and try on the shoe to find the right size, then purchase it online.

The ironic thing is, I'm not a shoe person. I've probably owned less than ten pair of shoes my entire life so far.
