78 home, 84 away. And since its 2 programmable t-stats, it'll often go to 84 upstairs when I am home but downstairs.

Do you find yourself freezing in White people's houses like me?

If its 77 I feel great inside. Any lower than that and to me it's cold. Sniffling cold.

I like it cold. And thankfully my wife is the exact same.

    House
    wake up: 69
    away: 76
    day:75
    evening:72
    go to bed: 70

Live in Savannah, GA. It is hot/humid like Houston. Summer bills are a beast but we make up for it in the winter. Almost never run the heat. In the winter the house can get down to 60 and I still won't run it. Just prefer clothes layering or blankets etc as needed.

For the summer in my apartment: There 76, Away 82

Annoying having to deal with roommates who don't understand how AC works and will crank it down to 60 when I'm not around sometimes. It doesn't make the place much cooler during the summer; the AC just runs on and on and on and on.

It's funny how everyone is different, anything above 74 in my home and everyone starts to complain that it feels warm. It's weird because I didn't have AC when I was a child and I didn't melt, but know I can't live without it, definitely can't sleep without it that's for sure!!!..:(

    Whoops. Summer:

76-78 with people during the day
    76 at night

I would prefer 73-74 at night, but I can't afford the bill.

    Winter:
    A/C and Heat permanently off

70 all day/night. It's also a House. During winter I'll put it up to around 73ish.

House...75-77 depending on the zone when we are away.

About 72/73 when we are at home.

65 at night when we sleep.

I think I once read that it takes more energy to cool the house down from high temps when you set it too high when you are not at home that it takes to maintain a "medium" temp. Is that true?

A brick house. 83 when away (which it doesn't usually actually reach unless we're gone for days), 70 when sleeping, sometimes raise it to 72 during the day but often just keep the 70. If it was too hot I wouldn't get anything done - makes me lazy.

80 when home. 85 when away for some amount of time. AC off when away for long period of time.
    Apartment.
