There are just too many quality movies listed in this thread "guilty pleasures" that there should be no guilt associated with.

Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor movies? No guilt needed.

Spies like us? No guilt needed.

    Ice Pirates? No guilt needed.

    Time Bandits? No guilt needed.

A bunch of of movies are CLASSICS...high quality comedy.

Now saying you like Cutthroat Island with Geena Davis as a swashbuckling pirate...that is a guilty pleasure.

agree on all the above.....and submit Genna Davis in Earthgirls are Easy as another guilty pleasure.

also...found myself watching What's Up Doc this week with the wife...and realized I actually liked that movie...add another one to the list.

    oh yea...Drop Dead Gorgeous....hilarity...definitely under-rated as a funny movie

and one last thing while we are on movies..

Does ANYONE have Scavenger Hunt on VHS?
it hasnt been released on DVD...and you cant find it anywhere...but I desperately want to see it again...and will gladly pay for the priviledge of converting this to digital...

And, along with his turns as Kenny Fisher and Scott Evil, Seth Green's best work.

The bad rip-off of "Dazed and Confused", "The Stoned Age", is always an enjoyable watch. Schnapster! *Ting*

"Point Break" I...AM AN EFF...BEE..EYE AGENT!

"The Poseiden Adventure", "Swarm" and all the other late '70's disaster and "animals out of control" movies. "Titanic", too.

"All the Right Moves" and "Some Kind of Wonderful"Leah Thompson

"Better Off Dead" Or ANY movie with EG Daily or Deborah Foreman in it, for that matter.

    "Krull"
    "Clash of the Titans"
    "The Warriors"

500+ posts and no contribution yet? Come on now. Surely you got $20 to spare for the Tip Jar.

    April Fools DAy

Valley Girl (Nicholas Cages first starring role iirc)

and the bit part (Susan) in Real Genius

Chris Knight: So, if there's anything I can do for you, or, more to the point, to you, you just let me know.
Susan: Can you hammer a six-inch spike through a board with your penis?
    Chris Knight: Not right now.
Susan: A girl's gotta have her standards.

    :D

The Sound of Music - Yes, I'm a self-respecting male that really likes the Sound of Music. And no, they aren't mutually exclusive. Right?

The Family Man - I know what you're thinking. "The Family Man? Who cares. So what if you like it. It's not THAT great, but it's not really worth being guilty over."

But I REALLY like it. Really, REALLY. I think the ending is fantastic, and that a sequal to this film could potentially be one of the great dramatic romances of all time. Yeah, I know that I've got issues.

BTW Josie and the Pussycats is actually a good movie. I went into that flick expecting nothing, and was blown away when I found out that it was a pretty savvy attack on pop-culture trendsetting.

LOL!!! That guy was my hero in all of those movies.

You knowing the name of that guy inspired me to look at some of his other film gem's at imdb.com. I came across some interesting pics of good ole' William Zabka with his male life partner. Johnny is a flammer!!

    http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0951420/photogallery

It makes me wonder about all of those Cobra Kai guys.

    Wow.

I was Johnny for halloween last year, complete with surfer cut blonde wig (johnny wearing his skeleton outfit from the movie). The party was hosted by some gay guys too.

    2 days in the Valley

I can't get enough of this movie. I watch it every time it's on TV. I should just buy the DVD.
