ABSOLUTELY! But the CD set has ALL of their very best and then some to that point. Since that point, though, they have been all down hill. Wife likes him a lot, and I have even gotten her tickets and gone with her twice to see them at Cynthia Woods. I knew the GM out there and still know the Director of Marketing. They were able to bring us back stage at the DMB concert twice. Met Cater & Boyd both times and DM once. Extremely nice people. They certainly are talented, but the music itself just is not that good. Good thing you dropped that "probably" in there huh.
Bama, If you are a big Jimi fan also look for the Live at Winterland CD. Has most of the songs you know, some of the other song you have heard but aren't mainstream, and also includes a instrumental cover of Cream's Sunshine of Your Love. Great set!
DMB - Live at Red Rocks, Chicago Ben Harper - Live From Mars Led Zeppelin - How the West Was Won U2 - Rattle and Hum, Under a Blood Red Sky Dispatch - Gut the Van Bruce Springsteen - Live 1975 - 1985(Though I still don't own it...This is an excellent box set), Live In New York City
Anybody with a user name like ima_drummer2k had better have Exit Stage Left included in their best of live albums.
there is only one definitive live cd/album The Band - The Last Waltz the rest are second by a long way
Faked? Well there were "touch ups" here and there but industry wide most live albums DO have some touch ups. Nothing new. It is live and it is good!
