You posted it and I loved it so much that I used it as my sig. While I'm in bed watching The Daily Show, I think, no less than five times, "I have a new sig".
MR. MEOWGI's sig is my favorite: "A human being is a part of a whole, called by us "universe", a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty." -- Albert Einstein
My daughter got it for Christmas. I must admit however, that when we watch it "together" I am usually reading. I will pay more attention next time. (I do like the Cousteau special on the DVD... it's hilarious.)
it's a scene where Ellen's character is sleeping...and talking in her sleep...and there's something hysterical to me about a fish saying, "be careful with that hammer," in her sleep. but i'm weird that way. and i'm weird a lot of other ways too.
The problem with sigs is that they change all the time for most people. However, I usually pay attention to DoD's sig because he always has a quote that someone has said here that is really unbelievable. I think that is why he does that - to prove to other people here, that someone did say that ridiculous thing he is quoting.
Well, I was trying to show that while the show gives plenty of new sig opportunities, I don't really feel like getting out of bed to change mine. Perhaps I'll start keeping a notebook nearby.
I like Oski2005. "You tell that son of a b**** no Yankee is ever comin' to Houston -- not as long as you bastards are running things!" -George Costanza It makes me think of all the stupid things George did and makes me laugh every time.
