drinking Wild Turkey out of a diamond-encrusted walking cane in honor of the late, great Evel Knievel. damn...
I know what you mean except during the week from 8 to 5, I sit here bored out of my mind. It would be nice to have some actual work to do, but the downside would mean no posting. But after going all day being bored, I go home and find myself having to work a helluva lot harder than I ever would at my job! The weekends are a little better but I rarely find time to do things that only I would want to do. Perfect example is that I would love to go see "The Mist" but I am the only one in my family that wants to see it. So, tomorrow afternoon, we are going to the movies but it is not to see "The Mist" but that magorium movie with Dustin Hoffman. Oh well... And I also see myself having to have a job until I am at least 70 which is very depressing to me as well.
i always wonder if A-Train's moniker was in reference to the movie, which was literally gay, making me wonder if he was gay. that movie was disappointing, it was all cool until out of nowhere he's like hey im gay. i don't like gay movies.
Hey - I heard that movie was surprisingly NOT kid-friendly. Let me know what you think. I know what you mean. I've been wanting to see Beowulf.
I hate when people want you to stay at work because they're doing something that might possibly need your help and want you around. Either figure out whether I'll be needed or give me a call.
So you took it to the next level? http://board.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=136875&highlight=SWTsig
Okay, I almost forgot to tell you about this movie.... It wasn't great but far from being bad. My daughter is almost 8 and she wasn't scared at all with the movie but then again she likes Tim Burton (The Corpse Bride and has been begging to see The Nightmare Before Christmas). With that being said, there were some scenes that may bother or upset a child that is really little (5 years or younger), but for the most part, I didn't think it was violent or anything like that. I really came away with it, having the feeling of "Ho-hum, another typical Hollywood movie with nothing memorable to it." But my daughter liked it, so I guess that was good enough. One other thing - I didn't really care for how all the characters (with the exception of the little kid, Eric) called Jason Bateman's character, "Mutant". I am guessing they were just following the story as it was told in the book but the way they referred to him in that way was really demeaning to me. Just a minor quibble though - your kid or kids will probably like this movie - just don't think you will, ha!
If I become assistant manager at work, should I go the super nice route like my boss or hard ass route to give a counter balance? I'm leaning towards the latter.
