I am wondering how someone can look themselves in the mirror when they scam people to make money. How do they rationalize it to their conscience, or do they just not have one, and if not how are they able to actually function in society. I am thinking about a recent story I remember about Chinese street vendors making food out of cardboard as well as all the other negative BS I have heard about China, and I am wondering the general perception about the insane number of liars and scam artists in China which I am beginning to share is true or whether it is just a series of coincidences. (I just got ripped off by a PayPal buyer in Guangxi.)

CNN ran a follow up story that showed this was a fake story, setup by some rogue reporter. They apologized for running w/ the story w/out investigating the source. The NY Times also ran an article that Mexico and India are ahead of China in 'stopped food shipments,' which doesn't get much airtime. No doubt there's large amounts of 'shady' product from there. But I think there's a little bit of a media skew w/ all things China lately. Anywho...I'm STILL working on the same song for a week, all the energy has been sucked out of it by now, and I'm just rushing to finish it so I can move on to the next. I hope I can get most of it done tonight.
