Herbert Spiegelberg, The Phenomenological Movement: An Historical Introduction. Also, Frederick Exley's A Fan's Notes, depressing as hell but a brilliantly written book.

I'm reading Slash's autobiography. I read Nikki Sixx's Heroin Diaries prior to this one. And I'm going to start on The Dirt when I finish.

I like to live vicariously thru rockstars that have pushed themselves to limits. :D

I finished a book called "Hey, Nostradamus!" by Douglas Coupland awhile back...it really didn't look THAT interesting at first, but it's one of the best contemporary novels I've ever read. Right now I'm on East of Eden for the fifth time, needless to say, best book ever written.

if you like rock bios you should definitely check out the keith richards biography by victor bockrus (m.s.?). a "highly" entertaining read. that dude has absolutely no business still being alive.

also, the miles davis autobiography, which may be one of the best books ive ever read.

Yeah, not terribly advanced reading, but I'm entertained.

    About 20 pages left in:

It's ending in one of my favorite cities in the U.S. and even has a description of my favorite book store (at least I'm assuming it is).

    Going to start this next:

It's a fictional account of Hitler's childhood. Sounds pretty fascinating. I'm also about two and half issues behind on Newsweek and one issue behind on Mother Jones.

Just finished The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid and will either start reading Rant by Chuck Palahniuk or Until I Find You by John Irving.

I also knocked out the graphic novel From Hell by Alan Moore not too long ago.

I got a question for all you "book lovers"... I'm assuming ya'll must not have kids (or maybe just one) to be able to read book after book after book... right? Either that or you're not taking your kids to soccer games, ballet practice, etc.

Seriously, I don't see how ya'll make time for BOOKS. :( I wished I could.
