Thou shalt NOT disparage the Beastie Boys!! Seriously, Win, I told you that I liked that album but I still prefer "Selling England by the Pound" more. The problem is I have TOO MANY CDs to listen to - and it continues to grow as I have gotten on this funk/rap/r&b soul kick now. Currently listening to "The Chronic" by Dr. Dre.
KNOWING that is the proplem, Manny, I have taken this special time to make SURE, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway get's some special attention from you. A couple go rounds whilst at work will NEVER allow you to appreciate a masterpiece that deserves time and repeated listens. Hell, you gotta read the story line (even) and invest some love here dude, I SWEAR you will thank me later.
Sorry Win but another time - as much as I love P Gabriel (the singer, not the poster although he is okay, I guess ), it will be impossible for that album to squeeze time from me when it has to go against Kool & the Gang, Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., and Parliament.
Green Day - American Idiot - OMG! This CD is so good; just pure music excellence. I've listened to the CD like 10 times in the last 2 months, and that's just crazy for me, that never happens. I'm always varying my music up, and to keep listenining to same CD, that's saying something. I've probably listened to it 3 times or so in just the last week - AWESOME, AWESOME CD! Also... The Beach Boys - Sounds of Summer Green Day - Dookie Audioslave - Audioslave Chevelle - Wonder What's Next The rest of the 400+ songs I've listened to recently is just a random playlist. It ranges from Madonna to Ying Yang Twins to Godsmack to Garbage to Phil Collins to Dave Matthews Band to Bone Thugs N Harmony...
Thanks MR, I had a lot of personal things going on. Caught my fiance cheating on me, quit my job, sulked for a while, got a better job, became a workoholic, made some money, forgot about the girl, can relax and post on BBS's again is the long story short
