Let me know what you think about it. I think it is better than the 2nd one but not as good as the first.

I really like the first 6 tracks. Haven't gotten past that.

Have you listened to O.A.R. at all?

    Exploding Hearts - Guitar Romatic
Replacements - Pleased to meet me

You guys need to get this exploding hearts album. Best powerpop album to come out in the last 20 yrs! Too bad 3/4th of the band died in a van wreck...

I never have gotten anything by them. Are they (or him) similar to Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, DMB, etc?

Yeah, closer to Mraz and DMB. Pop with a little bit of reggae and other stuff thrown in.

There's been two 'Battle of the Bands' contests on this board with a total of 128 bands ... Cheap Trick hasn't been in either one (no one complained). That should tell you what this board thinks of power pop ...

EDIT: you think it's better than The Yo-Yo's?

Yeah, not much love for power pop out there - not sure why... I've always liked it myself. Off the top of my head: The Shoes, The Records, The DBs, Big Star, The Rasberries, The Buzzcocks (more pop than punk), Summercamp; et al...

I was checking out Exploding Hearts on Amazon (the short song clips) and can't decide which album to get. UT? Freak?
