Seal IV Blue Murder (self titled) Mr. Big - Lean Into It Foo Fighters - All For One Santana - Sacred Fire (Live) Santana Brothers Jellyfish - Spilt Milk Manny, You should check out Eric Alexander. He's a tenor sax player who has some really great jazz records out. I heard him the other day. His new record is killer.
dude, me too. i tried getting a BP off of antsmarching but i just got d*cked around. i really, really want one if at all possible. RM95: we have a lot of the same taste in music. i'm just getting into moe. and widespread panic and the jam band scene. OAR kicks a$$; my fraternity is trying to get them here next year for a party. that'd be the coolest party ever.
thats the good thing about Pearl Jam, they make all their shows available to buy.. I have the Houston show from this spring plus the Lubbock and Albuquerque show from the previous (binural) tour (all shows I attended)
I am listening to: Incubus- S.C.I.E.N.C.E. Audioslave- Audioslave Tommorow will be listening to the new blink 182 cd
FYI, it's not the real Woodlands show, it's just live versions of all the songs they played there that I got off Kazaa. I wish I could find the actual version of Two Step they did... For some reason, I watched the Rocket game with Bill and Calvin on mute and listened to classical music during the game. I needed to calm down after my float...er, drive home. Dvorak - New World Symphony Smetana - The Moldau Stravinsky - The Rite of Spring Copeland - Fanfare for the Common Man Barber - Adagio for Strings Benson - The Leaves Are Falling
Plus we like the same school. When are you changing your handle to TexasStatesig? DMB is apparently starting to release a lot more of their shows ala Phish and Pearl Jam.
Dude, I have always liked your posts and your style, but you are friggin' hero for liking that stuff! I am getting "Adagio for Strings" for Christmas! It will be my first classical CD in over 2 years (I have like over a hundred of them). "New World Symphony" by Antonin Dvorak is one of the greatest symphonies of all-time, IMO. Currently, I am listening to "Spiral" by Vangelis.
just bought me an Arab Strap CD and got told that they are the same members then Belle & S. Ecxellent music as well.
there are so many new diamonds in my stereo: Arab Strap: Monday at the Hug & Pint Dave Holland: Extended Play - Live at Birdland Granada: takes a lot of walking Sidney Bechet: petite fleur (song) Johnny Hodges: live at Sportpalast Berlin Lalo Shifrin: return of the marquis de sade Doves: the last broadcast and: V/A: You can never go fast enough (tribute to the film "Two lane blacktop" Excellent, Excellent stuff: check the link http://www.undertheradarmag.com/webonly/albumreviews/You Can Never Go Fast Enough/youcannever.html
Man, I love it to. Tonite I be going to a Kings of Leon / the Jet concert in Swizterland. Too bad that the Jet cancelled their set because of a deathcase in one of the members familiy. But I'm still fired up to see the Kings.
Brought 4 more CDs into work today: "Two" - Utah Saints "Tranceport" - Paul Oakenfold "Sinsation" - Pig "Super Hits" - Bonnie Tyler (have to have Steinman!)
You might want to check your sources there. Whoever said that may be confused because B&S have an album titled The Boy With the Arab Strap. I checked both bands' websites and it doesn't look like they share any members. http://www.arabstrap.co.uk/content/eng/bio.html http://belleandsebastian.banchory.net/band.php
I can't wait until I get home this afternoon!!!!! Dave Matthews Band-Live from Central Park I just don't know if I'll be listening to the CD or watching the DVD first.
You're right. Sorry, was not my intention. Thats what can happen when you once tell something unproven on which you get informed by someone. sidenote: I believed him, since the lettering on their album "monday at the hug & pint" is just exactly in the same way as most of the B&B albums are. For me it made sense in drawing a line between both bands. Thanks for the correction. I appreciate it.
I’m enjoying some fine post-rock at the moment: A Silver Mt. Zion – He Has Left Us Alone But Shafts Of Light Sometimes Grace The Corners Of Our Rooms Godspeed You Black Emperor! – Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada Do Make Say Think – Winter Hymn Country Hymn Secret Hymn There is some unfortunate cliché political and “bitter ex-Catholic” rhetoric on the first two, but for the most part they are just great soundscapes. Do Make Say Think also have an album called, Goodbye Enemy Airship the Landlord Is Dead, which I may buy just for the title.
