When the Rox won game 7 against the Knicks I just put my head down on the bar and cried and was so grateful that Houston's first "real" championship came from Dream and my favorite team. But you can't take the Houstonian out of me. I've seen what playoff mania does for this city and I see it as good for all of us, including the Rockets' organization. And in the case of Baggy and Beej this year could be the payback for what they've given this city and that trumps any preseason basketball game ever played.
I'll have my "Last" button on the remote set to the Rockets pre-season game and flip over occassionally to see what is going on but my primary focus will be on the Astros for sure....we are one game away from the Fall Classic baby!!!! PIP also comes in darn handy...
My 52-inch has a split screen capacity that gives me two 25 inch windows to watch both. But the sound will be on the 'Stros, not to mention that the Rockets will probably go by the wayside towards the end of the Astros game.
I'll be definately watching the rockets since I dont really like baseball. I'll be curious of the outcome, but not enough to miss my Rockets!
I will be watching the Astros when they're up to bat. When the Cardinals are batting I will watch the Rockets.
the Rocket game is on FSN tonight so if you live in Houston you can watch the rebroadcast of the game at 12:00 am if you want to do it that way.
have to watch Rockets, cause everytime I watched Astro games, they lost. I watched first game in this NLCS. And I quit watching since then, I wish Astro to pay me not watching their game.
Reading about Torts & Contracts! [j/k - Stros] i know this is the wrong thread, but don't feel like making up a new one over something so small - t-mac apparently attended the game yesterday and the stros were supposed to be making him a jersey - anybody hear anything further about this? h0lla.
I detest baseball and would never watch it. I want nothing to do with that stupid, racist, steroid-driven, boomer-coddling anti-culture that is Drayton McLane's Astros. I hope they get exactly - exactly what they deserve, and no less. Basketball is light and life itself. How could anyone possibly choose the death culture over the celebration of life?
