I'm getting her a real nice digital camera. She's tired of using her camera phone. Any suggestions? I don't even know where to start.
that's what i'm getting mine. of course, it's going to be hard to watch her use that ipod touch when i want one so bad.
- A new wallet - Candles - A microbead pillow. She tried to put her last one in the washing machine. It was like it snowed in the laundry room - Pearls (our 2nd child is due in June and that's apparently the birthstone) - Biweekly maid service (already started that one)
depends on what type she wants.. but if she wants something ultra-compact and a point-and-shoot type.. Canon has come out with 2 nice upgrades recently: the SD 880 IS and SD 990 IS. Both have made some very nice improvements on their predecessors it looks like, and I will be picking one of these up before my next trip..
How much are you looking to spend? I got my gf a very nice, compact Casio Exilim for under $200. 10 MP... not a bad camera at all.
Thanks, guys. She is really just a point-and-shoot type. Just a camera with a printer that lets you print photo-lab quality pictures (on contact paper, not printer paper) right away. Nothing real fancy. The maid service idea is pretty good too. She would LOVE that.
The reason I'm a fan of really any of the Canon IS cameras is because of the IS..image stabilization. Compensates for shaky hands. Something that other brands haven't picked up for the most part. Right now I have the SD 700 IS (I think that's the model..it was the first or second IS they made) Plus Canon SD Powershots have a great rep for image quality out of a pocket-sized point-and-shoot..
getting her a new laptop, her laptop is old and sluggish also, buying my mom something nice, thinking about a new mattress
http://www.tiffany.com/ It doesn't even have to be anything terribly expensive, but most women LOVE that box.
-New wallet -Shirt -Sweatshirt -"Catch-Phrase" game (for when we have friends over) -New Michael Buble CD -Some chocolates/candy
Well, my fiance just told me he wants a XBOX 360 wireless adapter...I guess I can get him that too. Where can I get that for cheap? Amazon has it for $82.96.
ima, consider batteries vs. rechargeable battery for power, size and cost of expansion storage (Flash vs. Compact SD vs. xD, etc.) and the cost, and also the ability to add components like a powerful flash, if it can fit in your pocket and how small it is that's what she said, etc. That's going to do lots of HARM for the environment... it's going to eat up so much ELECTRICITY even when turned off... trust me... don't you know?
I'm getting the old lady some clippers so she can get at my eagle claws. Nah, j/k. I'm getting her a new radio for her car, laptop bag, purse, perfume, nail cert., a braclet, a necklace, some dvds, and best of all......... some anti-bacterial stuff cause she's OCC on that stuff.
