Gotta make a correction here. As it turned out, although no matching fund is available for employee cash donations which in turn go to the Red Cross, my employer does provide much needed assistances in many other ways for the Katrina relief. I found out this in an email annoucement last weekend. Just a little surprised the news came out a bit late.
