I like the leather grain (not suede) Ugg slippers. They may be too warm for Houston weather though. Pacas socks are good. Warm and soft. Can you tell that I'm old by me wanting to keep my feet warm? Speaking of feet, I would probably never get a pedicure but if someone got me a gift certificate, I'd have no choice but to try it. When you get old and buy all you want when you want it, you then need to start trying new things to see what you've been missing out on - or not.
I always think of practical things I could use at random times during the day. I'll make a mental note to myself....but then when I'm asked what I want, I've already forgotten and I can never think of anything. I've already told my extended family that I want anything Astros-related. World Series knickknacks for my home office would be perfect - no Texans gear!
Can your mom bring me some Central TX BBQ? BBQ in Ruidoso sucks. There is Madd Jacks in CloudCroft (which is Lockhart quality) but that's a 50 min drive then a wait in line and I rarely have time to make it over there. Back to the original topic: I don't really need anything but would like a Hot Tub but more realistically I'll probably buy myself a cigar box guitar kit to build and play.
