Morey has always been high on Randle. The question is if Julius values winning. Youngins almost always opt for money and opportunity.

Can the Rockets bring in player X......and sign Luc MaM? Luc could be the starter, but I’m hoping for a Tyreke Evans or trade for Chandler Wilson. Maybe James Nunnally as deep bench back up SF. Maybe. If so then we could offer him a role here (assuming RA is gone or glued to bench) on one of the top 5 teams in the NBA, so that could be enticing. I think he'll get the $8+ MLE, but if he can be had for $5 that would be great for us.

Randle is not a 3 point shooter. This line up would kill our spacing. If Randle comes here, he would have to come as a back up 5. No way he starts and kills our space.
I’d be happy with a Evans signing to save face from loosing Ariza. I think he would actually be a great fit at starting 3 who can play the 1!!! Gives you a SF that can actually dribble a basketball!! If we could get rid of Anderson and sign Evans while keeping Capela, would be a GREAT start to next year.
Why not? We can't just live by the 3, die by the 3. Look at how well it worked out for us against GSW.
This is yet another good thing for re-signing Capela. Indiana would have been an ideal landing spot for Randle, now that's no longer an option. So who will sign Randle (and therefore withdraw themselves from the CC sweepstakes) Only about 4 teams left with over 10+ mill in cap space, Hawks, Kings, Bulls, and Philly. EDIT but it looks like this Evans to the Pacers is only a rumor currently.
