This is really key. we still haven't seen what he is able to do with actual positive trade value. everything he has been trading has either had negative value or very little positive value, and he still has come away looking like a genius. it will be interesting to see what he can do with mcgrady's contract.

Since we have decided to look ahead before even the tip off of the first playoff game, does anyone know (as it stands today) if we have any picks in this year's draft ?

Exactly... he does well at Walmart. How is he at Neiman Marcus?

If the Rockets lose in the first round, major changes have to come. That means at a minimum Ron is gone, and anybody on the roster is fair game. I love Scola, Landry, Shane, Chuck, Wafer, Lowry, and AB, but Morey has to be willing to trade them.

If they get wiped off the map, Morey needs to blow it up and start over. I include Yao on that list. You certainly don't give him away in a firesale, but if you can get solid rebuilding pieces, Morey has to consider it. I'm not saying they have to trade Yao if they get blown out in 5, but they need to be willing to consider it very seriously.

I came into this season saying it was a put up or shut up time for the Rockets. Advancement to the second round was a minimum benchmark, injuries or not.
