Hmm. I think I like to post pictures. I also like to argue sometimes and point it out when I think someone is posting BS. This probably annoys some people sometimes. Once in a while, I like to post silly remarks. I think that's about it...
I'm a big ellipse guys as welll...that is, if you count what I just did as an ellipse. (I also like to use parentheses for no apparent reason.) I also put IMO a lot, even when not really necessary. EX: "IMO, Yao Ming is better than Jason Collier." Lately, I've been using too many verbals, gerunds, participles, and subordinate clauses together. I'll have a sentence that is like: "Reading that post after doing some homework involving complex Calculus, I quickly learned that what I had thought about this BBS was something entirely wrong from what I had been thinking, although I never really thought all that much considering how strange this post is, especially since I keep rambling; however, I'll bring this all to a close. " Don't ask me how I got that way. I just wanted to include too much in one sentence and I tried to do that the only way I knew how. I'm doing an essay for a college class I got that includes some sentences like that, so I'll quickly change if I get some points taken off. Oh yeah, I usually use a lot of those smilies too. I would like to post funny pictures but I never really had much of a "collection." Now that I've been here for a little while, I sometimes will post a picture in a thread that I had seen before.
Hmmmmm. Maybe we should all pick another poster's style and imitate it for a week. Should I try Dada? Or maybe Rocket River? (As for my own style? I'm a spelling and grammar w****.)
Oh I was just making up a "sentence" off the top of my head, not trying to make a sentence with each grammar technique that I previously mentioned. Although it looks like I got pretty close. I think you could count "thinking" and "rambling" as gerunds although they would just be the words and not phrases. I don't really remember the exact rules for them any more though, even though I went over this just last year.
Sadly, my style was abducted by space aliens one night a number of years ago on a dark and lonely road just outside of Coldspring.
