How about when he said this after the game about his insident with SF::eek:

"I screamed after I made the dunk and he (Francis) came up with a forehand and he’s not a 7-footer and shouldn’t be doing that. He wasn’t being professional. I didn’t say anything to him. I just walked away. That was out of character, putting his forehand on me. He acted like an idiot. It made me a little more aggressive. They gave me a technical and I didn’t know why. They (refs) say they gave me a technical because I didn’t walk away from him. All I did was dunk on Yao. All you can do is take it out on them on the court and that is what I did."

I didn't believe this before but now I realize that this kidd is a total punk.

they played the replay so much i cant believe how many of you missed the "classy" reaction AS had. making a fist and giving the "is anyone lookin cause im about to smack you" look. seemed like he was waiting for someone to come hold him back and sure enough when someone did he made a few "let me at em" gestures. that punk is a bee-ah-itch my friend.

Excellent point, its the exact same thing I saw. Though I woulda done the same in Amare's case. Someone elbow me, I'm gonna defend my rep, but at the same time I dont wanna get tossed. It was the right reaction from Amare IMO

The Rockets should have won the game, then they could have just said.

    SCOREBOARD !!!

But Phoenix gets to do that as well.

Because its just a freaking game! Get over it! Im with Batman Jones on this one, this topic is getting plain stupid and his comments are being look into way more than they should. Its conviently forgotten that he did say "Yao played great...." What do you want him to ride Yao's jock like he's a Rockets fan? I mean come on now.. He said what he said, we lost. Yao scored 29. Next game please....

yeah if amare just said "Yao played great." It wouldn't be much of a deal. THen he goes ahead and says something to the lines of "but he got easy buckets". Yao scored amare effortlessly, is that why he got "easy buckets" ? Lol he added that he thought he defended yao well haha as if he stopped him in his tracks. His argument about being 6-9 as opposed to 7-6 isnt valid either, because everyone else has to defend yao the same but you dont see them complaining.

As a former college basketball player I can understand the reasoning behind SF doing what he did. We were playing at home. I dont care if your Michael Jordan, if you dunk on my player and then scream at my crowd, I'm gonna let you know about it. Maybe it was cheap and uncalled for but damnit dont come into my house and act like that....

I can see why Rockets have something to prove to the Suns since we were ousted by them last year and our lost recently to them to a close match really p!sses our team off.

I see that we have one more game against them and it gonna be PERSONAL!!!

It IS only a game and I am already over it.

BTW, if this topic is stupid, just ignore it. I don't recall anyone inviting you or Batman to partake in this idiocy.

Me personally, I love to hear other diehard Rox fanatics b**** and moan after a loss. What's not fun about that?

And finally, why does it bother you so much when an opposing player got bashed on our forum? Just curious.

I don't know if anyone else has posted this yet, but guess what I just found over on the Sun's newspaper...

    www.azcentral.com/sports/suns/0317sunsnb0317.html

The title of the article is "Stoudemire slam on Yao earn's D'Antoni's cheers". In the article, Coach D'Antoni says:

"It was like seeing heat come off the sidewalk around here in the summertime. The energy just came off of him in waves. Against Olowokandi, Amare went up. But on this one, he just went through the guy."

The article is from today too. It appears that as Rockets fans we may be putting this game behind us, but the Suns fans are milking this for all it's worth...

Though they did not win the game, fortunately the Rockets can still say:

    STANDINGS !!!!

This is what a coach says? You won't find any respected coaches talking about how great a dunk was in length like this guy. No wonder the Suns are doing so well in the standings with an idiot like him manning the ship.

    That's funny.

Hey, if Yao's getting easy baskets, is it because your D sucks, or because he knows how to get open?

    Amare's answer:
"We weren't defending him very well, but he got a lot of easy baskets."
