Let that punk Stoudemire enjoy his facials and let him believe that he was stopping Yao (LOL), but in the end, his ass is going to be at home watching Yao and the rest of the Rockets on TV in the playoffs.

Those dunks really help your team when they are sitting at home on their asses in the postseason, don't they Amare?

I agree. Both time Padgett was guarding Amare and let him go by. Yao was trying help-D (by blocking) --- if he didn't there wouldn't be any "facial". As for Padgett's D, didn't he study Amare's play before the game? It was so obvious Amare's quick first step is always to his right --- I remember reading somewhere last year when E. Griffin couldn't guard the first step Yao asked him "don't you see his can only go his right?". In 4th quarter Yao guarded Amare 1on1 couple of times, and he either blocked the shot or caused Amare to brick an air ball.

AS is an azz...He was pathetic...He'll always be a second-rate player in this league...It's still no excuse we let them win when it should have been a blowout...

:) Yeah. That's what I found so funny. That's quite possibly the oldest and most boring crowd I've ever seen.

Tim, I love everything about the new arena and the new game presentations, the new unis, everything . . . but I wouldn't use this screen shot for any upcoming commercials. ;)

    other thoughts:

    1. Pagett definitely needs to practice passing downlow. At least 3 times in the game he was in the middle of the paint and Yao was beneath the basket guarded by one player, he chose to pass to the guards. Just throw it at the rim and Yao will get it!

    2. Who was guarding Marion at the end of Q4? The first time Marion had the ball (the inbound pass) he didn't foul -- well, maybe coach's call not to foul --- the second time he went for a double team for no reason and left Marion wide open?

    3. It's pathetic the Suns simply used full court press to kill us in Q2 and Q3 (with A LOT OF help from our guards' bricking). Maybe we need to hire an assistant coach from some university (Big ten schools?) to help coach breaking full-court pressure and zone D.

    4. JVG should take blame for blowing out the 21 point lead also. Didn't he see in Q2 & Q3 the guards were trying to take the game into their hands? Man, it seems each time we have a big lead in the first half there will be lots of dumb plays afterwards. The coach needs to bark at those immediately! --- interestingly in this game JVG barked at A.Griffin immediately for a poor D play. Maybe it's the "star power" of SF3 & Cat?

Most memorable moment of the year for Amare... even if it is, you don't say it infront of national TV, especially with intentions to embarrase someone like that (this was at the time when ROY contention was heating up).

    -G'day-

Amare is selfish and stupid. He shot 1-10 and didnt give ball
    to marion when marion 5-11.

If I have anyone to respect in Sun, he is marion.

Yeah, I think he’ll be OK but never a great player.

Kemp peaked and while everyone knew he was a very good player, he was never really in that next level of greatness. I think the same thing will happen to Amare

I happened to catch Dominique Wilkens on ESPN Classics the other night and the guy can shoot. AS can't hit the backboard from 15 ft out. You are giving AS way too much credit for his non-existent outside shooting. ;)

BTW, we lost the game. When we lose, I really don't care much about the post-game quotes. Yao may have won his battle against AS but Rox lost the war.

    LOL.

McCarthyism is alive and well on CC.net. :D

I would never defend an opponent player. Maybe that's why I am a FAN-atic......

If you notice, lots of the ignorant comments are bign made by people with 2 or 3 posts to their names. Most likely they're fans from other teams who registered a while ago to gloat about something and now are doing it again. I doubt any real Rox fan had a problem with Yao's performance last night. We just happened to lose, its an 82 game schedule, these things happen. Why can't people just stop trying to put it on one person, its a 5 man game

Yao is not a God to most of us but he does play for our team. I don't understand how you find it funny when one of your own gets embarrassed on national TV?

Then again, judging from how you defended AS in the rest of your post, I am beginning to get the picture.

    I agree with Jeff.

You don't come here, in our house, yelling like a fool, like you own the place. If he would have run back up the court yelling it would of been different. He stopped, he posed, and yelled, and turned right into Stevie. That was taunting. He was trying to show them up in their own house. You can't allow that. I'm glad Steve gave him an elbow in his throat.

As a matter of fact I hate the dudes guts. I can't stand to look at his punk ass.

But even more than that, I hate the comedians on sportscenter, who say stuff like Yao got owned by Stoudamire, and Yao gets a facial. shooting 7-26 is not owning anybody. the stupid bastards.
