No one here has mentioned Zydrunas Ilgauskas yet. He is an unrestricted free agent and I doubt the cavs resign him now that lebron james is gone. He can be a serviceable backup. He is slow, but is a great passer, has some decent post moves, and can hit the outside shot. I think he can be had for cheap. What are your opinions?

Meh, he's a good pickup, but I think he might be too pricey...

After the Dan Gilbert rant about "loyalty", I somehow get the feeling that the Cavs will look to re-sign Big Z so that he can retire a Cavalier. My guess is that Gilbert's feelings for the Cavs lifer will grow stronger based on the Lebron abandonment situation.

NO NO NO NO NO NO

He has been done for 2 years now. He is 7'3 yet a terrible shot blocker and rebounder. His defense is atrocious as well. Brad Miller or Shaq are the 2 best options available.

Someone a little more reliable please...

Let's give Hill a shot. Scola and Hayes can play some too.

There is no reason for us to get slower. There is no reason for us to even think this could happen. Morey clearly goes after mobile bigs, willingly overlooking their lack of size.

In conclusion, I'm only writing this post to say that you shouldn't make a thread by naming any random player you can think of and wondering if he'd fit on the Rockets

Only a matter of time until he's in South Beach.
