What about trading for Simmons this trading season?

    Harden is not leaving Philadelphia for this mes. Even if he does leave he has had enough of a bounce year to have options to get a deal on a contender.


    Simmons is just a horrid option

    Funny enough, Ben Simmons would likely come in as the best player on the Rockets due to his defense alone.

    RIGHT PLAYER, WRONG PLAYER!

    I said months ago the Rockets should go after Simmons BUT they need to trade Alpi, not KPJ. Alpi is not a fit with Simmons, he's more of a fit with KPJ.

    With KPJ you have more of a 2nd PG/Playmaker on the wing, so you take the ball out of his hands more and give him more Catch and Shoot opportunities.

    With Alpi, he needs the ball in his hands to get more involved, plus he's not a shooter, same for Simmons. So you will have two players overlapping each other.
