I was the first one on my block to get one. "Bonk's Adventure" was actually a pretty cool game. There was also a football game that was cool, but the system didn't last long. Their hand held system was great for its time because it played the TG16 console games.
Glad to see some love for SHINING FORCE in here. I didn't think anybody knew about that game. I love this style of RPGs and find the battles in the Final Fantasys so lame and boring. I wonder why nobody has tried to recreate something close to this game.
Sonic one and two Maximum Carnage (red cartridge FTW!) Eternal Champions Altered Beast Golden Axe Power Rangers Terminator 2 NBA Jam NHL '96 X-men
Shining Force is my all time favorite RPG, and it was this particular game that got me started on the genre. I'm putting it out there but Mortal Kombat on the Genesis was better than the one on SNES because you didn't need the secret code to activate the blood splatters. Moonwalker is downright hilarious. Anyone ever get the 32x attachment for your Genesis? The Sega channel? Man I miss that system...
All great pics Off the top of my head, Sonic trilogy, Rocket Knight Adventures, Toe Jam n Earl, Aladdin, EwJ, Street of Rage 2&3, NHL 94, Mortal Kombat NBA Jam Tournament Edition Ecco the Dolphin Beyond Oasis
General Chaos (Real fun with others) Bonanza Bros. X-Men All the NBA Lives All the Sonics (the story games, not the gimmick ones) Toe Jam and Earl (both) Fatal Fury Street Fighter II's There's more, but I can't think of them. No particular order
All the Madden games, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe though are the two I always remember but there were so many more out there that I loved!
The game you are referring to in #3 was called Pirates Gold. Fun game. If you go on amazon, you can buy the game from people, but they are selling it for like 30-40 bucks since it is a rare game. You can play something similiar on your PC called Sid Meirers Pirates. Better graphics and gameplay.
It's funny this posting was here, just found my old genesis all boxed up in the attic, with 50 or so games, still works great, hooked it up and tried it out..........
Might sound lame, but The Lion King game was fun. Also Streets of Rage, Paperboy (can't remember if it was 2 or 3 that I rented all the time) and Sonic.
Bill Walsh College Football 94 and 95 Shinobi Lakers vs. Celtics (tom chambers had an unstoppable move) Bulls vs. Lakers
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lakers_vs._Celtics_and_the_NBA_Playoffs Many of the signature moves were inserted without players consent. Moves such as Charles Barkley's gorilla dunk drew controversy and would affect the future of signatures moves and the marketing of the moves for future basketball games. A notable signature move is an unstoppable dunk by Tom Chambers which starts from the free throw line.
