I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but would the Rockets consider hiring Jerry Sloan as the new head coach. Of course we all hated/still hate the Jazz, but you have to admit that their offensive sets where some of the best of the era. Sloan commanded respect from his players and had multiple winning seasons with the Jazz. What do you all think?
No he retired from being a head coach, do you think the Jazz fired him? They didn't want him to step down from the coaching position but he made that decision in 2011. Scouting consultant is something he probably feels he can handle.
A couple years ago they showed him in the stands at a Jazz game.. dude looked awful, like he had a stroke or something.
Didn't realize he was already 73. Figured we could use him as we have a bunch of primadonnas on the team and our offensive sets are ****e.
Currently, and he hasn't been a nba head coach since he was 70. Adleman also retired last year at 69 and Pop will probably be retiring within the next 5 years. NBA head coach is a highly stressful job that will take a big toll, its a lot to ask of man in his 70's.
While we're at it, why not bring Stockton and Malone in as assistants? I think Horney has been getting some good coaching experience in Arizona, amirite? But no, really, screw the Jazz and Sloan and anyone affiliated with that organization. I will forever hate the Jazz more than any other NBA team ever in existence and would never want any of those dirty cheating flopping jazzholes to tarnish the Rocket brotherhood with their cursed ways and methods which would utterly destroy our chances of winning another ring! No sir, I don't like it. Not one bit.
How about that chubby fella? Never played or coached any game at any level but has a "system", you know - the one with friends in the media that helped him to look good and that made a cult following of highschool kids? Yah, him.
this is exactly the reason why the rockets need to move from houston silly houston fans you are not rockets fans
