All the love for Gerald Green on this board amuses me to no end. Do you guys seriously think the Wolves would give him up for Kirk Snyder if they thought he had a prayer of being the next T-Mac? The trade was a cost-cutting move, period. Anything Green actually gave us basketball-wise would've been pure gravy. Good riddance, and welcome back Mike Harris.
Maybe I am just a sucker for a good show (dunks, anyone). But is anyone surprised that we got rid of Green instead of B Jones?

Unless I'm seriously mistaken, that's not what happened. With Jones and Green, our roster was maxed out. Jones was on a 10-day contract. We let Jones expire and cut Green. We used their two spots to pick up Williams and Harris.
I doubt if Justin Williams will be a Rocket next season. Their first choice was Brent Barry a 3pt shooter. The Rockets are 20th in the league out of 30 teams in shooting 3s.
