I’d take a flyer on a Euro for one of em and take a guy that can be a good role player now with the other (someone like Juzang).

Other option is package them and move up a bit, get a single prospect that’s a little better

@cheke64 its not even close, Wieskamp is by far a better athlete than Ariza.
It’s a little weird you compared him to two unathletic white guys.

Didn't know this guy but looks reeeally interesting too. Listened some intervews and liked what I heard.

Looks like a superb role player.... This draft looks deep. And we have 3 picks.

I'm all for JT Thor with one of the late picks, unless for some reason Garuba is still there (I've seen him drop in a few mocks).

    2. Green
    23. Duarte
    24. Thor

    I really like that draft.

I also like the idea of trading up a bit too though.

I didn't know if I was valuing this correctly but I had

Gordon, House, 23, 24 and the 2023 Bucks pick

    For

    Brandon Clarke, 17

Why are we basing picks on who we picked previously?

We had the worst record in the NBA and we should be in the talent acquisition business and go for BPA, this is a multi year process, this draft should not be looked at as a team building exercise.

We will always need multiple bigs, wings and guards.

Those are 3 different types of players, if he was all of those guys he would be in the lottery.

He’s not exactly like any of them, just saying long 3&D athletic wings are valuable.
If anything he’s a mix between Roco and Donte Divincenzo as a high side

I like Roko too, especially in transition, but he is a traditional 4, prefers playing in low post.

He has good 3ball numbers but his release is slow and plays very stiff. Very physical but best defending 4's.

I like 6'10 Vrenz Bleijenbergh upside more, who has more fluid movement skills, quick release, better lateral agility, better BB IQ, less turnover prone and more position flex.

Both good passers, but Bleijenbergh's overall guard skills just looks special.

That's too much for Brandon Clarke. We must retain the 2023 Bucks pick. I like your draft choices.

As you say, Roko is more of a clear NBA PF.
I honestly can't see this Belgian guy (who I recognize I didnt know) defending inside, pounding and rebounding against NBA bodies. Will probably defend outside better than Roko, but I honestly see nothing of an interior player in him. :/ Still like the guy, but to me Roko is an NBA PF and the belgium is more of a SF.

The thing about Roko is that he's also skilled inside, very strong finishing, and a good rebounder... Has a bigger body (and little bit longer). I get -and agree with- the question marks about his lateral quickness though, and likely that's what's pushing him aside of mid 1st round positions...

Exactly. JT Thor is also more suited to 4 spot, but he can defend inside and outside. And does not need the ball on offense.

Roko is much more ball dominant, is like less polished Domantas Sabonis, but better defensively.

If Jalen Johnson falls to 23, he is my pick out of the 3.

But Vrenz upside as point forward is fascinating to me.

If we can't move up, I'll bet one of these picks gets dealt for a slightly higher one next year. (bring on the high schoolers)

I've only seen some highlights of Thor, but yes, looks impressive. I wonder if Im missing something, cause he looks like a very clear 1st rounder to me. But I don't see and don't know college basketball, and any physical freak can look great on a highlight clip, so...

What I most like about him is that he moves and thinks the game as a wing, not as a PF. You can see his feet movement defending outside and how quick he reacts to the guard moves... But then he has a 7-3 wingspan, wow... that is a crazy combination.

    2. Jalen Green (6'6", 36.5% from 3)
    23. Trey Murphy (6'9", 43.3% from 3)
    24. Jay Huff (7'1", 38.7% from 3)

    PG - KPJ, Wall, Augustin
    SG - Green, EG
    SF - Tate, Murphy, Nwaba
    PF - CWood, KMart
    C - Olynyk, Huff

Would like to see if we can get a late 2nd round pick for House. I want him gone ASAP.

Highlights can lack context - you skip right past all the time when he isn't doing anything, and only see him when he's on.

For the season he averaged 9 points and 5 rebounds a game - he was 6th leading scorer on a college team that finished under .500.

According to what I've read, he goes through stretches where he is extremely passive and just camps out at the three point line waiting for someone else to get him open. He's definetely not anything close to a polished, ready-to-play-in-the-NBA product.

I guess he will drop off into the second round because of that. Thanks for letting me know that.
