Hey Vesceysux how is it like in person to watch the Yankees in Yankee Stadium at this time? I would love to go to NY one day just to watch a Yankee playoff game.
According to the announcers last night, Batista is scheduled to pitch today with Johnson and now (I suspect) Schilling in games 6 and 7.
Well, I've only been to one other Yankees game in my entire life, and that was a week ago (Game 5 of Yankees/Mariners). I liken the Yankees crowd to that of a Cornell hockey game (my alma mater), times a factor of 50 (due to capacity). Lots of (inventive) cheers, lots of heckling, lots of energy, lots of fun. Yankee Stadium is never quiet (wish I could say the same about Enron ). And, if a Yankees player hits a homer, the place absolutely explodes (and the stands rattle). I've never heard anything like it.
NBA Basketball sucks, we all know the Lakers are going to win again, boo, hooo, wah, wah what a bunch of cry babies you guys are. For those of you who missed last nights game, sucks for you. Sorry you are too hard headed to enjoy such a wionderful game. And what the heel does this mean? "It's like watching two rich white guys having tea, not interesting at all." MLB is 100 times more diverse, race wise, than the NBA is. If you are referring to ownership, LOL, yeah the NBA is FULL of BLACK owners. give me a break.
Are you really that big an idiot that you couldn't figure out what I meant? I mean, genius, that it's no fun when it's always the top teams salary wise in the World Series. MLB is no fun for about 70% of the teams (one or two surprises a year excluded). What's fun about the NBA and NFL is that the team with the best assembly of talent. Maybe we know the Lakers are going to win it all this year, but at least we know it's because they were able to piece the team together through scouting and the like, not by consistently outbidding all the other teams because it's richer.
Wow.... Rocketman95 made a joke unfairly typecasted as controversial and someone else overreacted. Talk about your role reversals...
Riight, this coming from a guy who banned me after I made a joke about people not understanding the whole accidental multiple post thing. Me overreact...never happened.
I don't exactly remember this, but if it's anything like your right wing conspiracy WitchHunt for Jeff locking your flood posts, I'll give it the respect it deserves by ignoring it. I'm just glad we weren't treated to you making bell sounds and moronic claims of most ignorant post ever.
I'm shocked to find out the Lakers got Shaq and Kobe because of good scouting. Damn you Laker scouting bastards!!
The Lakers got O'Neal because the Magic lowballed him. The Lakers got Bryant because Jerry West is a frickin' genius.
This happened back in '98 Clutch...someone explained how to make sure you don't accidentally post the same thing twice in a row, and as a joke, I posted three straight times...the first one "I", second one "don't", and the third "understand", and you banned me! Also, we all know that Jeff is a closet raw steak eatin', squirrel huntin', pro-lifer, pro big business conservative...he just acts this way so he can be everyone's favorite admin. Plus, I've already made it clear that it wasn't the most ignorant post ever...all of mine are in a tie for first.
