The sleep is no big deal. I average about 3-4 hours of sleep a night and I love driving (I average about 30-35k/year on my car and really don't go anywhere). Also, you must give credit to people like Clutch that keep a site like this running on a daily basis. I proved I was a fan for one night, he's proved it to the public for years and on a daily basis running this honkin' site. Oh, and HeyPee and I scanned to see if you were sitting in your seat, but all we saw was some woman scratching her arm. Are you female? If so, what are you doing tomorrow night, 'cause yer kinda cute. Actually, on the drive I thought we may have been looking at the wrong side to find you, but I'm not sure. ------------------ Yugo grills, Yugo mills, Check out the oil my Yugo spills... The best game I've seen, Watching Hakeem doing it all really put me on uhh! and ahh!, He really is sending a message to Rudy and CD that he still got game.He just simply blast the T-wolves! DREAM FOR NEXT SEASON!! ------------------ Rudy T. will find and fulfill Rockets destiny.
D of D. My wife was sitting in the aisle seat next to me and yes she is cute and no I don't want to go out with you tomorrow night. I figured HP was going to look me up and force me to tell him how I got my tickets. ------------------
LOL!... there was no one else there the entire half, though. Just her. We must've been looking at the wrong person. ------------------ Yugo grills, Yugo mills, Check out the oil my Yugo spills...
Can't believe I'm posting this much already, but just had to say what great time I had at the game and how good it was to meet the CC.net regulars---- Clutch, Jeff, axeman, and Kagy sat a couple of rows ahead of space city and me. The view was a lot beter than I expected, and my buddy and I were sneaking binocular peeks at the Rockets plays. I also got to meet heypartner (thanks for setting up the pizza deal), davo, rockhead and ryan at Keneally's. It was great to talk to proven diehard Rox fans. All in all a great experience. Thanks to everyone who made it happen. ------------------ "Just give the ball to me---- I dunk on all of them!!" Akeem, the original bad boy
I see LAM has quickly learned the double-post, post count padding technique. Welcome to the board, man. Hope you find it as addictive as the rest of us have. ------------------ I'm about to boldly go where many men have gone before.
Late in the 4th quarter, with the Rockets well in command of the game at this point, and chants of "Dream! Dream! Dream!" reaching a crescendo, Hakeem Olajuwon was fouled unneccessarily hard by LaPhonso Ellis. He jogged down the baseline, and from three point range flipped the ball toward the basket. He nailed it. It was that kind of night for the Rockets, it was that kind of night for Dream. How can you describe the energy and emotion in that game, words don't do it justice. I don't know about y'all but when I saw Kevin Garnett was having problems scoring over Matt Bullard I knew this was gonna be something special. I loved the way the Rockets played last night, just runnin' and gunnin' and they owned the glass all night long. Incredible, just incredible. We should do this again next year. ------------------ Founder and President of the Houston Homers Club(HHC) - Are you a homer? Join now! The Rockets will be NBA champions. Believe.
Oh, and the officiating was pretty good too. ------------------ Founder and President of the Houston Homers Club(HHC) - Are you a homer? Join now! The Rockets will be NBA champions. Believe.
DOD, 3-4? I can't live without at least 7-8 hours a night. The Hakeem chants were great. I haven't heard sweeter words since the titles. I hope we can make this an annual thing, so I can come next time. I am convinced that the loudest fan ever is this very tall man around the first row of the top deck. He is a large man that usually wears a blue Rockets hat. He is a very big Mobley fan so you can probably recognize him by that alone. Jeff, they let you into the locker room didn't they? After all, you saved the team. ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
BTW, I asked my bobble-head if Hakeem would return next year, and it nodded yes. ------------------ Founder and President of the Houston Homers Club(HHC) - Are you a homer? Join now! The Rockets will be NBA champions. Believe.
I'm tired. Someone email me if the recap doesn't make sense or flow... I don't even remember what I wrote. ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
That's ok, I drove back to Dallas, went to bed at 3am, woke up for work at 5:00 and had to make sure I was wearing clothes once I got there. I'm looking at myself right now, and I see clothes, but I just don't think I'm wearing any. It's a weird feeling. ...am I really typing this? ------------------ Yugo grills, Yugo mills, Check out the oil my Yugo spills...
