    oh please. if anyone has all the power in this country it's the corporations. we submit to their every whim, and they get more power and control. don't act like it's the left-wingers who are the tyrants.

    Corporations still cannot directly contribute to candidate's campaigns but can run unlimited ads for the candidates. I know it might be a distinction without much meaning but is a distinction.

    I was just thinking that at the moment the Democrats haven't used any of the special legislative tactics to pass the Senate bill that the critics are complaining about about. Both houses have voted on it and once Obama signs it it will be be law.

    At the moment only the Republicans have used special legislative tactics to try to stop it.

    Who do you lemmings think hires people, creates jobs, industries and paychecks? The government? I am a self employed entrepenuer and my taxes (income tax, medicare, social security) are already over a third of my income. I wok two and three contract jobs to provide a lifestyle for my family and take umbridge at self righteious hypocrites who feel the need to "spread the wealth" from hard working, motivated people to others who are not as such.

    I would rather have corporations lobbying congress rather then the trial lawyers, foreign interestes (which is a high crime) and radical individuals like George Soros.

    For the record the claims spouted by the dems on this health care boon dogle are the same ones they said about SSN and welfare. You little sycophants keep aspousing that this is all progressive but its the same $ hite on a shingle being servied to you.

    Who is John Galt? :rolleyes:

    Joe Biden's parents were of Irish descent, not Italian. Biden isn't from Chicago. Biden doesn't run illegal liquor or evade taxes or support prostitution.

    I fail to see the similarities.
