Yeah, i know the team from last year could use just a couple of those guys, but I was talking about duo's of the 90's. Any duo you add would replace the starters and those players would no longer be on the team.

i would go with jordan and pippen. you're getting a duo that won 6 titles and now giving them the best big man in the game (when healthy). those 2 on the perimeter and howard in the middle would be one of the best defensive combinations you could ever have.

Reggie Miller/Dale Davis. Pure shooting and pure rebounding/defense. Hate Miller, but he could shoot.

This was my thoughts exactly, but I went we need. If not for that, the most logic pick is Jordan/Pippen, but I tried to be different cause I thought most people would pick that duo.

    You would lose Harden.

Stockton/Malone. as much as I hated them, they would be the best fit. Malone has range and can post up as needed. Stockton can shoot 3s, steal the ball like crazy, and is probably the most pure pg to ever play the game.

The Lakers signed Shaq & drafted Kobe in 1996.

Not a fan of 3 titles in 4 appearances? WTF?

I get what you are saying, but to his defense I do put them in the '00 group. Plus you would lose Harden and Howard.

I knew someone was going to come up with this you guys are so predictable. They still didn't know how to play together YET. Kobe was a young and was still learning and growing. They weren't a dynasty until the 00's...

Jordan and anyone. The fact that you're getting a top 50 all-time HOF'er in Pippen to go along with the GOAT makes it a no-brainer.

If we're just throwing around names for fun, how about Tim Hardaway and Zo?

Zo-Howard front line would be disgusting... nobody would come within 15 feet of the basket. And I think Tim Hardaway was awesome. No homer. :)

To be honest, it's a no brainer. Bring the GOAT, doesn't really matter that he replaces Harden.
No-one's untouchable when you're bringing in a player of Jordan's calibre. As much as I would love the Dream / Drexler combo as a fan.

It's like having the chance of bringing in Lebron next season, straight up swap for Harden = no question.

Sorry but I'd go for the best duo jordan/pippen. No GM will be crazy enough to skip those two. If they're here, i'd trade Harden for somebody like Rodman...

If I'd consider my bias though, I'd take Olajuwon and Drexler though...

You can move Harden at PG.

    Harden/Miller/Parsons/Davis/Howard

Anyway, we've already got a lesser version...

    Lin/Harden/Parsons/Howard/Asik

Hey guys don't forget that if you are adding a C, then you will lose Howard. A SG and you lose Harden and so on. I know some guys can play multiple positions, but think of their primary postion as MJ plays SG and Zo plays C.
