well Matt Schaub was a BEAST against Seattle, and his job wouldnt be in jeopardy if he didnt make that awful and childish mistake in the pick 6.

Have teams figured out Schaubiak? If Matt throws another pick 6 tomorrow, the answer is undeniably yes.

But if it's not just Schaub, but also the play calling, just how much better can Yates be?

I agree, its look like teams already figured out the gameplan of Kubiak.
so its really time to change HC.

Like I have said already draft Manziel hire Sumlin. If we are going to fire the coach. Great offensive mind as well and will not conflict with Wade Phillips.

It's just so ironic to me that if he held onto the ball, it would have been perhaps the most famous play in Texans history, instead of most infamous.

The guy was a warrior trying to give up his body to make a play and win the game...it's a pity how much that had to become overlooked because he lost the ball.

    This. He had major balls.
Oh well. Rosencoptor is still a hilarious way to be immortalized.

Same could be said about Schaub and the ill-fated pick-6 against the Seahawks. If he goes down and takes the sack, Texans probably go on to win that game. Fast forward a week, and the first PAINT against the 49ers would not have been so horrific and maybe he bounces back to have a better game from that point on, but that's all conjecture :(

I like...Wade Philips as the head coach, and Sumlin as the OC...not bad...

and add a polarizing leader in Manziel... the Texans would actually be a really interesting team to talk about just because of Johnny Football...

All that being said, I really doubt that he will be on the board by the time the Texans draft...(im really hoping this to be the case...;))

Yup, while the decision was bad, I will always respect someone giving up his body to make a play as a football player. Sage had the guts to play real football.

Contrast this play with Schaub a couple years ago against the Raiders, when it was 3rd and goal, the Raiders had 10 men on the field, and Schaub was rolling out but couldn't muster the stones to knock down a DB to get in the endzone, instead floating the ball out there to be picked off.
