[rquoter]After the whale was sold to SeaWorld Orlando it was involved in a second incident when authorities discovered the body of a naked man lying across his back in 1999. [/rquoter] There's gotta be a story there!

Wow, I can't believe so many pathetic posts by people in here joking about this. I only wish it happen to someone close to you so I can enjoy the laugh too.
Can they release this particular killer whale back into the wild? Or, is it domesticated now? I guess I don't see the point of them trying to continue training and performances with this killer whale since it has a string of human deaths tied to it. If it happens again with this same killer whale, then what are we supposed to think? Uh...should have known? I personally never understood the significance of training killer whales to perform tricks for our amusement. Surely, there is a military application there somewhere...like delivering an underwater nuke to Iran or something. It's like an excuse to keep these magnificent creatures in captivity. Oh...but people want to see it do tricks and hope it is not having a bad day. Obviously, we know who is in charge of that operation. I just don't get it. Let's turn a killer whale into a domesticated pet. Hey...why didn't I think of that? Great idea. It doesn't sound good on paper to me but to each their own I guess. I know it draws an audience but still I don't like the idea personally. And, noone can blame the killer whale here at all. It almost seems like we should be keeping score or something. It feels wrong.
I hope you get charged by a rhino in order to teach you that wishing animal attacks isn't a laughing matter.
Apparently they had just finished a training session, and everything was good when the trainer turned quickly and her pony tail slapped the whale in the face. He grabbed the pony tail and dragged it down below the water and shook her from it and she drowned. DD
That doesn't really sound believable to me. Witnesses say she was grabbed by the waist. Plus you expect me to believe a killer whale grabbed ONLY her pony tail and dragged her underwater by it? Also, I highly doubt something so miniscule would bother the whale that much.
