Westside isn't like it use to be under Rudy where you get just walk in. The doors are always locked and you have to no somebody to get in. Well as usual it is a bunch of guys who are cba players and nba developmental leaque players trying to impress the coaches. I talked to several of the players and word has it that Nachbar sucks. They make bets on who is the next to dunk on him. They feel the only reason he is on the team is because he was a high draft pick. Now I no you guys want me to quote names or sources but I won't to protect guys who are trying to get on the team. Also Pig Miller maybe signing a non-guaranteed contract with the Rockets. Tiere Brown is dominating at westside and Moochie is like night and day this year. Word has it also Stephen Jackson does want to play for the Rockets. Last but not least Gundy is everything we thought he doesn't play when it comes to discipline, the players have admitted that Rudy was a pushover and that they could do whatever, not anymore. So you guys go ahead and bash me for posting this, but if Pig signs you must apologize.

But Nachbar is in the NBA, while all these other guys are in the CBA.

Besides, how do all these guys know if Nachbar stinks??? He has been playing overseas most of the summer and he barely played last year.

Sounds like sour grapes. Although, I am sure Pig Miller could be the missing piece that gets us into the playoffs.

If Pig signs, I am sure youll get your credit. But if he doesn't, can we bash the heck out of you??? heh

Maybe you should go talk to jshabang.

Has Tierre Brown been able to get the ball past midcourt at Westside pickup games?

Damn! An alleged semi-inside scoop on the Rocks. Hasn't it been like a few months since we had one?

Pig does sound good. Tierre, too. Jackson also. Most important Moochie sounds like he is back. JVG seems to believe in Moochie.

I must have missed it. Has the regular season already started?? If not, then no, I haven't noticed a difference.

I am hardy putting stock into what players, most of which don't even play for us anymore have to say about the subject. :)

I think Moochie has always be able to play good in pick up games. Unfortunately that does not translate into a good player. Notice they are mostly CBA and NBDL players.....right where he belongs.

All signs pointed to Nachbar sucking, even without this post. When he is the biggest scrub in the summer league, there is a problem.

I like Tierre, and I believe Moochie will improve. He just slacked off last year, perhaps conditioning-wise, and he is the type of player that doesn't have much room for error.

Do we have room for Stephen Jackson, with Griffin and Pike taking up the swingman minutes? Maybe we could trade a certain someone and let Jackson start...

I can just imagine the conversation:

Guard: You can't come in here.
    binvegas : No
Guard: I said you can't come in here.
    binvegas : No
Guard: For the last time, you can' come in here.
    binvegas: No
Guard: O.K., you can come in

First of all I played college basketball and I workout at westside I'm not a star-struck individual. Its' no big deal for me to hangout with nba players they're just people. I was trying to just give you guys a scoop, but some of you are trying to turn this thread into comedy central.

I believe you but are they judging Nachbar from last year's performance or is he playing now at Westside?

By the way - I do think the Nachbar will be added to the list of 1st round Rocket busts at the end of this year.

Just to derail the thread a bit more, it is the "catch line" from the Astros 'fight song' from the early 80's. They used to sing both the english and spanish versions prior to the games.

But they're just teasing. Don't let'em scare you off.

I share the opinion of Boki. Rudy drafted him because he has always, always, always wasted draft picks on The Next Rudy (lanky white guy small forward No-D shooter). Now he is Yao's best buddy on the team, so...he'll be here awhile.

Hopefully Boki will turn it around. Still, I hope Gabe Muoneke catches on. Some toughness at the forward spots.

having bets placed on you to get dunked on isnt always bad. after all, it happened on yao and look where he turned up. boki is just as likely to return the favor.
