i think the perfect storm start of bad D, SA not missing anything, and okc being cold pretty much demoralized them. hopefully donovan's not stupid enough to play durant/westbrook 40 plus minutes in the hope of a comeback.

Never understood why some people thought OKC could challenge SA or GSW. OKC looks good on paper, but they just don't have it.

yes, this is the first time durant has ever faced defense. he shoots 0% on all defended shots.

on one play he did a euro-step past everyone and was right at the rim and almost didn't draw any rim on a 1 foot layup. that's just weird.

Its the thought that he could be blocked at any time. You forget the mental part of the game

Donovan won't wear them out but he has to play them long enough for things to turn around (somewhat).

like i said, he's great. but if kawhi had to shoot 20+ times against lebron/durant right up in his face because they know there won't be any layups behind them and then those guys could just go with the flow in a beautiful offense instead of having to take 20+ tough shots, they'd probably look really good as well. the last time the cavs played the spurs kawhi basically got nothing but a tough mid-range 2 any time he tried to go one on one against lebron.

this is like okc doing everything people criticize them for and doing it as badly as possible and the spurs doing everything people praise them for and doing it as well as possible. just an amazing crushing of an elite team.

    33 point game.

So good they get to rest their stars in the playoffs.

he averaged 27 points on 47% shooting against the spurs this season. he probably made a layup somewhere in there.

still not sure who i want to win this series. kind of starting to like the spurs after all these years and they are probably the better matchup for the warriors, which is all i really care about. on the other hand, spurs can't seem to score against gsw and okc had some pretty close games with them and has the athleticism to stay with them.
