Lol, Portland is so scrub against that D from the Spurs.
The Rockets make players like LMA turn into MJ and Lilliard a KB.
A real team like the Spurs makes Portland seem unlike NBA2K14 on cheat mode.

The old men embarrassing the Rockets with their actual defense.

Portland is going from playing a team who does things on the fly to playing a team who runs plays perfectly.

Look what happens when blazers run up against a team that has an actual offensive system.

    And that actually challenges shots.

So easy to get them out of their rhythm, just close down on the shooters. Even if you think you won't make it, JUST GIVE EFFORT TO DO SO (Harden...)

And more importantly plays defense. McHale's gonna look like an even worse coach by the time this series is over.

So, why didn't Pop wait till game 3 to put Splitter on Aldridge?

When you have a reputation as a defensive team, you'll typically be allowed to get more physical.

Start to this game is a testament to how trash/non-existent our defense is.

Have the biggest lead so far of the night.

The Blazers make one basket. Immediate timeout.

When will it be my turn to understand that feel of a good coach.

    Spurs in 4.

    Because without:

    1, refs help

2, miracle shots from lilard and LMA

    3, Rocktes' poor defense

    Portland has zero chance.

to be fair, we usually put leads in the beginning of the games against portland, just game 2 we were down. but you're right our defense was trash

It is amazing what a real defense can make the Blazers look so mediocre. Spurs are so much more disciplined than the Rockets. They don't break until they've secured the rebound and they know how to box out.
