They are both excellent coaches who are on the same level. But head up between the two Adleman has owned sloan since 2000.Sloans teams excecute on high level but when he faces teams coached by adelman,adelman's teams execute better.Sloan has been eliminated by rick's teams in 2002 and 2003 and with getting the most out of players you would have to give adelman the nod with this as well.Sloan is known to bench players or trade guy's who don't fit into his style perfectly,while adleman is known for his flexibility especially morphing post up ball dominating players like ron artest and bonzi wells into the princeton motion system. Adleman is the ultimate players coach being able to coach perenial head cases like rod strickland,jerome kersey,vernon maxwell,jason williams.Coach killers like chris webber,Team killers like bonzi wells and ron artest,ego maniacs like jim jackson
Francis just turned 30 didn't he? I wouldn't exactly call that old. If he's healthy and I believe he is he should be almost as good as he was when he was a Rocket. Just judging from the few clips I saw of him last season he still has the quickness and most of the explosiveness.
