Since when is Thomas a great defensive player? He played on great defensive TEAMS, true, but so did Allen Iverson, Ray Allen, Tim Hardaway, Bob Cousy, etc. And Nowitzki has clowned the Spurs on numerous occasions; remember that game 7 a few years back? I think it was 30 and 15 and it was on the road. Nowitzki could really hamper the defense of a team if it's main anchor has to chase him around the perimeter like it'd have to do against the current opponent, IMO.

Ain't disagreeing with you that Nash and Nowitzki will have trouble guarding Thomas and Duncan, but Thomas and Duncan will have a hard time covering Nash and Nowitzki as well; the former because he wasn't a great defender, and the latter because he can't guard a perimeter player. Duncan chasing around Nowitzki also hurts their team defense because Malone was not even close to the defensive anchor that Duncan was. On the other hand, Nash and Nowitzki still have Russell for support.

Hill, Marion, Moses could help on defense vs. Dirk.
I don't necessarily see jumpan struggling on offense, but in a Thomas and Duncan vs. Nash, Dirk match I see Thomas/Duncan with a slight advantage, given that Dirk and Nash are worse defenders.

    That's a more reasonable stance. :)

I think you have an advantage at offense with (Nash/Dirk) but I will have an advantage defensively(Thomas/Duncan) and i still have Grant Hill who can help out duncan in the perimeter. The reason my team will win is i have more scoring option than those two. Nash/Dirk combo is really a great, nice job.

I think my team is better than all of your teams combined.
    Isiah/Nash
    Gervn/Moncrief
    Hill/Jones
    Duncan/Dirk
    Russell/Malone

psh. Seems like a d-league team to mejk

If we do another draft, I think we should have it in this (fantasy) forum

Thanks, but I think you're sleeping on Moncrief if you think the offense is all Nash and Nowitzki. Because of his defensive reputation, people don't realize that Moncrief was also his teams best offensive player; think D. Wade version 1.0. Dumars was also nice, obviously not the playmaker Isiah was, but usually as or more productive as a scorer and definitely more efficient. Either way, very happy with the way this league has gone for me; I got to draft the team I wanted based on my beliefs on the game and it did well in spite of that. ;)

Well we could tweet all the NBA journalists like Simmons, Aldridge, etc. to take a look and judge, that way no one can argue about knowledge. Or even tweet all the players you guys drafted.

True, but the voting on these past rounds have tended to snowball, so...

Simmons would love my team, lol, and probably would do something like this anonymously just for kicks.

If you have enough brainpower to have 2 highly repped CF accounts, you can think out the tweets yourself. I don't do twitter, so I can't help there.
